The stronger the positive cause, the stronger the likely negative resistance.
There may be something inherent in life that tries to hold us back from achieving our goals and ambitions, but it is not as strong as the creative, positive force that enables us to reach those goals.
Two Reactions to Negativity
Please note the two different reactions: Wise people rejoice that negativity is showing how strong the determination is, while foolish people simply give up on their goals, allowing the negative to win. Negativity can manifest outside us in the form of blocks or challenges in our environment, or it can arise from within, such as our own fear, doubt, cowardice, desire, or other mental functions that result in weakness. We must be aware of this energy in life that is so desperate to prevent people from revealing their positive potential that it seeks any means to stop this from happening.
Challenging Negativity
I encourage us to view negativity in life as something we can and must challenge, rather than something to fear. Negativity is proof that we are doing something good and positive. We should keep an eye on what’s happening in our environment, but we need to pay even closer attention to our own inner negativity, whether it manifests as doubt, fear, or other aspects of delusion.
The Importance of Inner Attitude
An important aspect of what happens to us in life relates back to our inner attitude. What occurs around us is a reflection of what is happening in our hearts. Therefore, if we have a pessimistic attitude, it is more likely that we will experience negative things in our lives. As much as we can, we will benefit from maintaining a positive attitude, which will draw a harmonious response from our environment.
It’s important to approach difficulties and problems with a positive mindset. Whether we regard challenges in life as misfortunes or view them as opportunities for growth depends entirely on how much we have forged our inner determination. It all hinges on our attitude and our inner state of being.
Embracing Life's Challenges
With a dauntless spirit, we can lead a cheerful and thoroughly enjoyable life.
We can develop a self of such fortitude that we look forward to life’s trials and tribulations with a sense of profound elation and joy: “Come on, obstacles! I've been expecting you! This is a chance I have been waiting for!” We forge our determination in life by challenging ourselves when times get tough.
