The Real Story

Have you heard the Lwanda Magere Story? The story of Luanda Magere is a fascinating tale that has been passed down through generations. While there are many versions of the story, the officially documented version is available at the National Museums of Kenya. However, Mzee Petro, who runs a shrine in Kisumu, tells visitors the version that he learned from his ancestors.

The Lwanda Magere Story

The Lwanda Magere Initiative is a fundraising project that seeks to breathe life back into the shrine.

The first step is constructing much-needed washrooms for visitors. Your contribution will also aid in long term projects such as a borehole, proper lighting, security fence to benefit the local community.

By participating, you're not just preserving Kenya's rich heritage but empowering the custodians to revitalize their community.

Join us in honoring the legacy of Lwanda Magere, ensuring that this treasured shrine remains a symbol of Kenya's cultural heritage for generations to come. Contribute now and be a part of this inspiring journey!
