The major problem in Africa and many other countries is religion and outdated traditional belief systems. It has become very difficult to distinguish between religion, traditional beliefs, and witchcraft. People have lost the ability to differentiate between good and evil. The entirety of human study should be a study of oneself. What we call heaven and earth, mountains and rivers, the sun, moon, planets, and stars are nothing but additional names for ourselves.
Powerful enemies of the people are the so-called priests and false prophets who are arrogant and cunningly manipulating their adherents, turning them into flocks of sheep and zombies. They control their ability to think rationally and only encourage blind obedience. They boast that they have attained the highest spiritual level and claim you cannot be pure unless cleansed by them. Most religious leaders are practicing the power of witchcraft but hiding behind the cassock!
Don’t be a victim; you might find yourself trapped without a way out. In many cases, these so-called religious leaders are the ones bewitching you, but being ignorant, you go to them so that they can pray for you, and, of course, after parting with pieces of silver coins.
Most religions and cultures of the past have become ineffective. What is needed now is to establish our true selves, enabling us to adjust to such endless diversities. We, therefore, need not confine ourselves within a certain social or cultural standard. We have to discover the entity of the true self within the depths of our life.
